Keep in mind, attention spans are very short online. Structuring your article with an introduction, a body, and a conclusion assists the reader remain engaged. If you ramble without focus, you’ll lose engagement and increase your bounce rate.
Write as if your talking to one person
Write as if your writing a letter to friend, or explaining something over dinner. Keep it natural. Google understands when you’re padding your short article with unnecessary keywords.
Use your keywords frequently in your blog posts, but keep your material running and natural smoothly.
Use Headings Often, and be Descriptive
Your headings should tell the story by themselves. Spraying your natural keywords into headings helps your search rank.
Usage H2 headings after every few paragraphs to create a more pleasing and arranged experience for your readers. Because Google expects user experience into your rank rating.
Short Concise Paragraphs
Prevent giant walls of text. Keep your paragraphs to 1 or 2 sentences. Nice, clean, easy to consume text content. You are writing for the internet, not a school essay paper!
Avoid Thin Content Posts
Look at your blog post length, generally as a rule of thumb 1300 words is a safe bet.
Look at Your Competition in Google
However, if you want to go the extra mile then look on page 1 of Google for your main keyword and see what your competing pages word count is. While your there… how many H2’s do they have, how many images.
When you browse on Google, you’ll observe a box of related keywords at the bottom of the SERP. Usually, it says “searches connected to” and after that lists a number of more keywords. Weaving those alternative key expressions into your copy can assist you improve SEO.
Good Grammer Matters
